Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present conclusions drawn from the Congress of Security Sciences held in October 2025. It was the largest and most significant academic event of its kind, bringing together scholars representing security sciences as well as related disciplines concerned with security, within the boundaries defined by their respective objects of inquiry. The article presents conclusions based on prognostic diagnoses of research achievements in the field of security sciences, examined from the perspective of the discipline's fourteen years of development. These findings are complemented by organizational insights that may prove useful for future organizers of academic events devoted to security-related issues. The application of prognostic diagnosis was grounded in the conviction that this approach is based on the reasoning and experience of researchers. Its essence lies in a comprehensive description of the phenomenon under study, derived from observation and specialized research, which provides the foundation for further theoretical inquiry. In this context, such inquiry leads to conclusions emerging from academic discourse. The authors chose to apply a prognostic diagnostic approach because it relies on probabilistic reasoning and observable developmental trends which, despite the risk of potential inaccuracies, may be valuable in identifying opportunities, challenges, and directions for the future development of security sciences.
