Summary/Abstract: Through the prodigious album Cu gândiri și cu imagini, published in 2009 under the auspices of the Order of Architects (a volume brought out by Igloo Publishing, which also occasioned two memorable appearances by Horia‑Roman Patapievici on the television program “Înapoi la argument”), as well as through the extensively documented, inventive, and subtle psychobiography of the family written by Anca Hațiegan in the volume Ciulei și spectrul tatălui (Litera Publishing, 2024), but especially thanks to the trilogy Liviu Ciulei acasă și în lume, a theatre‑studies anthology by Florica Ichim and Anca Mocanu (388, 392, and 460 pages respectively), published in 2016 by the “Camil Petrescu” Cultural Foundation as a supplement of the journal Teatrul azi, the illustrious man of the theatre is delivered to posterity in patrimonial form—through a complete monument dedicated equally to his biography, to all segments of his oeuvre, to its critical reception, and to the encomiastic testimonies surrounding it.
