The international debate on the nature of the war waged by the State of Israel in Gaza

Summary/Abstract: From the beginning of the attack on Ukraine on 24 February 2025, the New Journal of Human Rights has systematically published materials concerning the nature of the crimes committed by the Russian Federation in Ukraine. Articles, documentaries, and cases before the European Court of Human Rights have appeared from the first issue following the invasion of this sovereign country¹ up to the year 2025². Shortly after the invasion, several researchers described the actions of the Russian state in Ukraine as “genocidal.” As the war intensified, the number of observers supporting the same view increased³. The journal has also presented the projects of international institutions preparing the prosecution of Russian officials for crimes against humanity.
