Summary/Abstract: The aim of the present research was to reveal professional training institution students’ attitudes towards education of the disabled. The research was completed in Kelmė and Šiauliai professional training institutions in 2006. 150 students of professional training institutions took part in it. It revealed that the respondents have a positive attitude towards integrated professional training, the majority support complete integration. It also revealed that professional training institution students stress positive aspects of pedagogical interaction in integrated education of the disabled, i.e. possibilities of self-expression and creation, consolidation of self-evaluation, self-education and improvement of communication quality are encouraged. The conclusions of the research may be used as guidelines revealing only the characteristics of the research sample.
