Summary/Abstract: The public debate in December 2025 was dominated by Recorder’s two‑hour documentary, “Captured Justice,” broadcast by TVR on 10 December during prime time. The documentary had approximately 382,000 viewers at the moment of airing, and it quickly reached 1.5 million. In the following days, Recorder’s official channel registered 5 million views. The description posted on Recorder’s page by Andreea Pocotilă and Mihai Voinea shows that the authors were fully aware of the importance of what they had produced. They noted that their film, which “compresses more than a year and a half of investigative work,” explains the complex mechanisms through which “the judicial system, a key pillar of any democratic state, came to be captured by a group of interests formed by magistrates and politicians.”
