Summary/Abstract: This paper examines intermedial phenomena in the historical novels of Kateřina Tučková, focusing on Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch (Gerta, 2009), Žítkovské bohyně (The Last Goddesses, 2012), and Bílá Voda (White Water, 2022). Drawing on Lars Elleström’s media modality theory and Werner Wolf ’s typology of intermediality, the analysis explores intermediality in one media product (implicit and explicit references, media combinations) as well as intermediality in media products’ relations. Particular attention is paid to quasi-authentic documents, ekphrasis, and visual elements, which blur the boundary between fiction and reality, shaping the recipients’ reception.
