Summary/Abstract: This article examines Hunt on the Nazi Necromancer, a dungeon synth project by Serbian artist Dungeon Guerrilla, as an instance of counter-mythopoiesis within post-Yugoslav cultural production. Combining digitally mediated ethnography with cultural-theoretical analysis, it explores how the project reworks esoteric Nazi mythologies, South Slavic epic poetics, and partisan memory into a form of historical fantasy that reinterprets existing symbolic repertoires. The study situates the album within broader debates on re-enchantment, counter-memory, and the contested legacies of underground music, illustrating how fantasy and sound function as media through which contemporary artists negotiate ideological histories and cultural imaginaries.
