Summary/Abstract: Although we were not of the same age, we nonetheless belonged to the same generation, profoundly shaped by the oikumenic vision of traditional culture and by the astonishing projects of Professor Mihai Pop—the indisputable founder of post‑war Romanian ethnology. In other words, we aligned ourselves with what our celebrant—Gheorghe Deaconu—would later call the Mihai Pop School.
