Spatial Diversity of Accommodation Provided Via the Airbnb Platform in a Post-Industrial City: On the Example of Lodz

Summary/Abstract: For over a decade, research into the Airbnb platform has been gaining widespread attention, including in urban studies. However, few of them concern post-industrial cities. The aim of this article is to present the dynamics of the development and distribution of short-term rental offers in the city of Łódź. The basic source materials were obtained through an extended investigation of Airbnb resources using a proprietary research tool.
