Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to attempt to show the specifics of phenomenological thinking. Beginning with Edmund Husserl's description of perceiving the brass cube, we indicate the specificity of the "phenomenological attitude", which sensitizes us to seeing objects according to their sides, aspects and profiles, and in the horizon of the three basic formal structures of part and whole, identity in multiplicity, presence and absence. The interpretation carried out indicates that such a phenomenological perspective can help us better understanding and describing the reality around us and the wealth of objects among which we live.
