Summary/Abstract: The accelerated evolution of artificial intelligence poses significant challenges in the sphere of constitutional law. In this context, through this research, we aim to analyze the importance of establishing regulations at the international level to ensure that human autonomy is not infringed and to advocate for the integration of a potential new fundamental right: the right to meaningful human interaction. This concept is concerned with the need to maintain essential human intervention in areas where AI is beginning to take over decision-making roles, thus guaranteeing respect for ethical and democratic principles. The study analyses the need for clear national and international regulations to prevent the complete substitution of the human factor in critical processes. The paper emphasizes the importance of establishing legal boundaries and regulatory levers to ensure a balance between technological efficiency and the protection of fundamental human values. Employing the comparative law method, we consider that it is necessary to look at the regulations of the United States of America, Europe and Asian countries regarding this phenomenon. Finally, to substantiate this research paper, we propose a statistical analysis based on diverse population samples in order to assess citizens’ perceptions and opinions regarding their role in the context of AI-assisted decisions when it comes to the challenges imposed by technological progress.
