Summary/Abstract: The modernization of public administration and the optimization of the relationship between authorities and citizens in the Republic of Moldova are supported by the digitalization of the process for issuing permissive documents in the construction sector. This paper examines the transition to the digital format of informative and design urban planning certificates, as well as construction and demolition permits, highlighting the impact on the construction industry. The study explores this process's advantages, challenges, and prospects, while also analyzing the extent to which the Republic of Moldova aligns with European standards and trends in the field.
