Summary/Abstract: In view of the disastrous climatic consequences, particularly the decline in surface runoff, sustainable watershed management is essential. As the watershed is the basic unit of water resource management, knowledge of the morphometric parameters that determine its hydrological functioning is necessary for its proper management. GIS provides invaluable tools for characterizing these parameters, including geometry, shape and linear aspects. This study of the Aga-Foua-Djilas watershed is based on data extracted from a 30 m resolution NASA SRTM. The analysis, carried out using ArcMap 10.8 and Sufer 15 software, revealed several morphometric parameters of the watershed. The watershed is elongated and therefore not very vulnerable to erosion. Its seasonal drainage density is 0.84 km/km². Slopes are low, ranging from 0 to 30.9%. These results can serve as essential support for sustainable development of the Aga-Foua-Djilas.
