Quellen und Forschungen, the other volumes being dedicated to George Enescu, Ștefan Niculescu, Pascal Bentoiu, Myriam Marbe, Enescu’s opera Oedipe, and topics such as the doina or spatiality in music. This series of volumes, all published by BIS‑Verlag at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, was initiated in 2013 by Violeta Dinescu and complements the Zwischen Zeiten symposium cycle on themes related to Romanian music, which she has likewise organized at the same university since 2006.
