Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the issue of existence in the philosophy of Immanuel Kant from the perspective of existential Thomism. It is based primarily on the concept of neutralization of existence presented by Gilson. The paper presents the differences and similarities between the Kantian and Thomistic understandings of existence. The place of existence in phenomena is also presented. There is also an analysis of the reasons why, from a Thomistic point of view, existence can be considered neutralized in Kant's philosophy.
