Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the subject of the pledge of the royal domain in the Kraków voivodeship in the 14th and 15th centuries, which has not yet been comprehensively studied. Earlier research has shown that there were numerous royal estates in the Kraków voivodeship, and in the 14th century, they were managed by the office of a wielkorządca, which was characteristic of Lesser Poland. After the death of Casimir III the Great, further estates began to be separated from this office. As a result, the royal domain was divided into several dozen estates and individual villages. Most of them were subject to pledges during the Jagiellonian period, which is the main subject of this article. The primary source material was the content of Lesser Poland diplomatic codices, and The Historical-Geographical Dictionary of the Kraków Voivodeship and its card index served as a guide to the royal estates. The study is an introduction to further research on the functioning of the royal domain and its administration in late medieval Lesser Poland.
