Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the issue of financing healthcare sector enterprises, with a focus on the role of European Funds in supporting the development of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The problem of financing innovation in the medical industry is significant due to the high costs of implementing new solutions and the limited ability of SMEs to secure capital. The aim of the article is to analyze the importance of European Funds as a source of financial support for innovative medical enterprises in the Lubuskie Voivodeship and to identify financial, organizational, and regulatory barriers that limit the implementation of innovations. The study includes an analysis of support instruments available at the national and regional levels. The results indicate that the main barriers to innovation in the healthcare sector are financial and organizational in nature, while European Funds represent a significant source of financing for the development of SMEs. The study suggests that EU support substantially enhances the capacity for implementing innovations and improves the competitiveness of enterprises. Based on the findings, it is recommended to increase informational and advisory activities for enterprises regarding access to EU funds, which may con-tribute to wider use of available support instruments and strengthen innovation in the medical sector
