Summary/Abstract: The article explores resilience as a strategic capability of sup-ply chains in the era of permanent polycrisis. Drawing upon organi-sational theory, systems thinking, and supply chain management, it develops a conceptual model integrating four interdependent dimen-sions of resilience – anticipation, absorption, adaptation, and transfor-mation. The study positions resilience not as an operational mechanism but as a dynamic meta-capability enabling organisations to learn, reconfigure, and evolve under conditions of structural uncertainty. By linking the global polycrisis framework with capability-based the-ories of resilience, the article bridges macro-systemic turbulence and firm-level strategic renewal. The findings contribute to the theoretical consolidation of resilience research and highlight its systemic nature as an emergent property of inter-organisational networks. Manage-rial implications emphasise the shift from risk control to adaptive capacity building, while theoretical implications suggest resilience as a cornerstone of sustainable competitiveness and institutional viabil-ity in complex environments. The article explores resilience as a strategic capability of sup-ply chains in the era of permanent polycrisis.
