Identity literature in contemporary editions for school-age readers. The case of "Dziady" part III

Summary/Abstract: The article explores ways of presenting "Dziady" part III in contemporary editions for school-age readers. The introduction discusses the (in)relevance of the Romantic paradigm in the 21st century, the reception of canonical literary works, and the ways of reading old works by students. In the article’s expansion, presents a comparative analysis of contemporary editions of identity reading in relation to Mickiewicz’s drama. It identifies both conventional and innovative approaches to representing the Romantic writer’s work and etheir possible influence on students’ reception of the text.
