Summary/Abstract: The article presents a case study of a 24-year-old woman with left-sided spastic hemiplegia, in whose diagnosis non-standard methods and research tools typically used for assessing functional speech disorders were applied. The aim was to provide a detailed description of the individual characteristics of the case, emphasize the unique nature of CP, and demonstrate the necessity of adopting an individualized diagnostic approach. The study also highlights the need to move away from the erroneous identification of CP exclusively with dysarthric disorders.
