Summary/Abstract: This article argues that if animals have recently been more often in the focus of philosophical anthropologists, now is the time to move on and pay more attention to plants, which are therefore becoming new animals. It is shown that in contemporary plant philosophy, the Heideggerian statement that plants are deprived of the world is perceived more as an approval. This happens on the ground of ancient atomism in the form of minimalism. Thus, it is recognized that a human being should adopt from animals their rootedness, vividness, modesty, breathing with all the skin and other plant features that could be useful in solving modern problems. The article draws attention to such ontological and epistemological aspects of the vegetal that condition of coexistence as being-with and flowering-with or flourishing.
