Summary/Abstract: The topic of the article touches on an important area of the modern world, which is migration. The author focused on the issue of social anchoring. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the issue of social anchoring, which is relatively poorly described in the social sciences. Rootedness and integration aremore often mentioned in the literature on the subject. Focusing on the concept of anchoring will allowus to start research on settling migrants in a new place of settlement. Additionally, learning the proverbial anchors will allow us to better understand migrants and prepare integration programs.
