Summary/Abstract: The study “Thematic Ideas for Current Preaching, Regarding the Holy Prophet Moses” highlights the theological, typological and homiletical relevance of the personality of the Holy Prophet Moses in the context of contemporary preaching. Starting from his status as a central figure of the Old Testament and a prefiguration of the Savior Jesus Christ, the work analyzes the main episodes in the life of Moses as landmarks for understanding the divine economy and for formulating current pastoral themes. The providential dimensions of his birth and protection, the symbolism of being taken out of the waters of the Nile as an anticipation of Baptism and Resurrection, as well as the typological value of essential moments such as the burning bush, the raising of hands against Amalek and the bronze serpent are highlighted. The study emphasizes how these Old Testament images prefigure fundamental realities of the New Law: the incarnation of Christ, the Cross, the redemptive Sacrifice, the work of the Holy Spirit and the role of the Church in the economy of salvation. At the same time, the practical and moral dimension of the personality of Moses is highlighted, presented as a model of meekness, obedience, fasting, prayer, spiritual leadership and priestly service. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that the figure of the Holy Prophet Moses remains particularly relevant for current homiletics, offering a solid framework for deepening the relationship between the Old and New Testaments and for articulating a pastoral discourse centered on the continuity of revelation and its fulfillment in Christ.
