Summary/Abstract: This study investigates how the theology of the 'beginning,' as formulated by the Church Fathers (notably Gregory of Nyssa), is poetically and mystically reimagined by Zorica Lațcu (Mother Teodosia). It posits that her work functions as a vital response to the fragmentation of meaning within our postmodern context. In a Europe characterized by identity crises and profound secularization, the 'Beginning' emerges not as a nostalgic regression, but as a path toward the rediscovery of original, ontological depth. By navigating the intersection of reality and textuality, our inquiry aims to unveil the nun’s poetry as a space for continuous human ascent toward the Divine. Through an integrative hermeneutical framework, we explore how Lațcu’s voice becomes a catalyst for spiritual and poetic regeneration, reclaiming the human capacity to embody and respond to the original creative Call.
