Summary/Abstract: The paper takes as its starting point the issue of climate change, which represents one of the major challenges to the global ecological balance, with visible effects on the natural environment, food security, human health and socio-economic stability. The increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases, closely linked to human activities - fossil fuel burning, deforestation and intensive agricultural practices - is identified as the main cause of global warming. Thus, the development and implementation of effective emission reduction strategies becomes essential for mitigating the effects of climate change. In this context, it is essential to identify and implement effective emission reduction strategies to limit global warming below the critical thresholds established by the Paris Agreement. The paper highlights the importance of a coherent set of climate measures and policies, enabling the transition to renewable energy sources, increasing energy efficiency, modernizing transport, promoting ecological and regenerative agriculture. In addition, the role of technological innovation, ecological education and international collaboration must be increased. The adoption of such integrated strategies involving governments, the private sector and civil society can significantly contribute to reducing the impact of climate change and to strengthening a sustainable, resilient and equitable development model for future generations.
