Summary/Abstract: STEM, STEAM, and STREAM educational approaches represent a significant reconfiguration of the educational process through the integration of curricular areas to achieve complex learning outcomes. STEM emphasizes the core fields-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics-which were later expanded into STEAM by including the Arts, bringing design and creativity to the forefront. The evolution toward STREAM further incorporates reading and writing, underscoring the importance of linguistic competencies for communicating and documenting discoveries. These approaches create a favorable environment for the development of autonomy, initiative, collaboration, and reflection, dimensions often constrained by the rigidity of traditional curricula. The study investigates the methodological dimensions of developing learning-to-learn competence through STEAM/STREAM extracurricular activities.
