Summary/Abstract: The social‑philanthropic activity of the Romanian Orthodox Church unfolds within a diverse framework, driven both by the specialized structures of the dioceses and by the associations and foundations established under their aegis. After the year 2000, legislative changes favored non‑governmental organizations, and social partnerships with public authorities were integrated into the non‑governmental sector.
