Summary/Abstract: Robots and Gadgets: Aging at Home is a volume edited by Felix Pageau, Tenzin Wangmo, and Emilian Mihailov, in which several specialists from diverse fields (biomedical ethics, geriatrics, new technologies, and AI) worked together to provide a moral assessment of smart‑home technologies designed for the care of elderly people suffering from dementia. The aim of the book is to investigate how such technologies could be used ethically, in a context where more and more individuals prefer to spend their old age in their own homes rather than in an institutionalized environment (p. 26).
