Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a proposal for the use of a 5G network to provide communications at the command post of a tactical unit. The use of this technology is intended to ensure fast and reliable circulation of information between command system function holders (subscribers, communication system and network resource users) without the need for time-consuming deployment of a wired network. The above requires ensuring coverage of a given area by a 5G signal. The general characteristics of 5G systems are presented, followed by a characterisation of the system model. The results of simulation studies conducted the use of the HTZ Warfare software for the assumed case are also presented.
