Summary/Abstract: The present paper addresses the issue of the educational process for preschool-aged children with severe myoclonic epilepsy manifested in infants, known as Dravet Syndrome. The results of the qualitative investigation are presented in the form of a case study. The objective of the present paper is twofold: firstly, to provide a comprehensive description of the educational process and, secondly, to offer a detailed characterisation of its specificities, with a particular focus on organisational and teaching methods within the context of the educational process. The study described in the text, which focused on the education of deliberately selected children from the target group under investigation in this paper, demonstrated that individuals diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome require an individualised approach in preschool facilities. This approach involves the creation of a bespoke education plan, the establishment of a consistent routine, and the provision of support with communication, motor skills, and social interactions. The educational process for such a child involves the creation of an individual education plan, an adjusted pace of instruction, the use of visual aids, multimedia technologies, motor exercises, repetition of content, games for cognitive development, alternative communication methods (signs, pictograms, communication devices), and positive reinforcement, with an emphasis on regular collaboration with the family and specialists.
