Summary/Abstract: In the present paper I intend to approach the Attribute as it is seen in traditional grammars, as well as from syntactic-semantic perspective conveyed by modern grammars to the Attribute, which they include in the Nominal Group as they categorise it based on several thorough syntactical and functional-semantic criteria. There are five Syntactic positions in the Nominal Group according to the Romanian Basic Grammar as opposed to the Attribute in the classical grammar as it follows: modifier, determiner, possessor, complement, quantifier.
