Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the description and explanation of the rules of using questions and answers logic and elementsof the relation theory in organising the cognition of a subject’s security. It aims to answer the question: how and why to usethe questions and answers logic, as well as elements of the relation theory in organising the cognition of a subject’s security? As a result, it was established that meeting successive conditions for identifying a cognitive problem situation: feelingof an obstacle in cognition, acquiring awareness of the knowledge necessary to overcome the obstacle, self-awareness of thesubject’s ignorance, and lack of research skills, as well as feeling the need to overcome the obstacle, remain in specific causalrelations with the situation of the question. Filling these relations with content leads to the gradual building up of the situationof the question from thinking about a question to crystallised interest, resulting in posing a serious question and thus giving thegeneral scientific problem the form of an interrogative sentence. In this sentence, the researcher knows which elements of thestructure of the interrogative sentence are the result of which cognitive activities identifying the cognitive problem situation.Relations of entailment between the general problem and specific problems, along with their ordering relations, were alsoidentified. The obtained results were considered a pre-theoretical sine qua non condition for obtaining sufficient justificationin the search for and discovery of the truth about a subject’s security.
