Social economy entities as organizations that support the building of social capital in the educational process

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present the impact of social economy entities on building social capital, as a factor of social change and a crucial element of the educational process. The article first explores the concept of social capital and its ability to accumulate resources, where relationships and values play a key role. It discusses the concept of the social economy, the legislative landscape, the areas of activity, and the functions of social enterprises. The article also significantly points out the possibility of social economy entities using social capital, which is an expression of their entrepreneurial approach that takes into account the organization's environment, including stakeholders, and leads to the generation of specific social changes.
