Effectiveness in the opinion of the surveyed students of Rzeszów universities by gender

Summary/Abstract: Everyday human activity manifests itself in the search for the best methods and ways to effectively perform work. The aim of this article is to analyze the sense of self-efficacy among 383 students by gender who started their studies at the Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów. The Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) developed by Ralf Schwarzer and Matthias Jeruzalem was used. The effectiveness of students by gender was moderate on the sten scale. Men received higher averages than women in the independent variables such as: university, place of residence, age and wealth. In three results, differences in the level of statistical significance were noted and concerned the university, place of residence and wealth of the respondents. It is postulated to introduce strengthening and increasing effectiveness in expanding knowledge and achieving educational goals among students.
