Summary/Abstract: Communication is a complex and dynamic process influenced by multiple factors. It constitutes a crucial element of social integration and the construction of individual identity. For adolescents, the developmental period of adolescence is characterized by intensive changes, during which peer relationships play a particularly significant role. The primary aim of this article is to analyze the role of communication in the formation of peer relationships among young people. Indirectly, the publication seeks to highlight the importance of communicative processes for the development of social competencies, identity formation, and the shaping of the value system of adolescents, thereby providing them with a foundation for conscious functioning in adulthood. The issues addressed also carry practical implications, as the results and conclusions of the conducted research may serve as a basis for formulating recommendations for pedagogical and educational practice.
