Summary/Abstract: The central topic of this research is the 1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, more precisely – with a narrower focus – the narrative local organization of Vojlovica during this extraordinary period. On several occasions, qualitative fieldwork was conducted to examine women’s narratives that described in detail the experience of everyday life, adaptation to wartime conditions, and various forms of community cohesion. Based on the collected audio recordings, an analysis was carried out in accordance with the methodo- logical principles of narrative psychology, revealing how individual wartime experiences were structured. The results indicate that these experiences can be grouped into several categories, thus providing a comprehensive picture of how the 78-day state of war was experienced in Vojlovica.
