Summary/Abstract: The first part of this study, published in issues 1–3/2025 of Glasul Bisericii, examined the attitudes adopted by the hierarchs of the Roman province of Moesia Secunda during the Nestorian crisis. The present second part is devoted to identifying the doctrinal positions upheld by these hierarchs throughout the principal stages of the Christological controversies motivated by the Nestorian doctrine: before the opening of the First Council of Ephesus, during the conciliar proceedings, and in the post-431 negotiations conducted between representatives of the Alexandrian and Antiochian theological traditions. Finally, the study elucidates the factors that prompted the hierarchs of Moesia Secunda to adhere to the Nestorian doctrine.
