Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse and evaluate the results of work on summarizing a newspaper article using AI in order to identify the potential advantages and challenges of the proposed learning and working process using DeepL Write and ChatGPT in the correction process. Thus, the use of AI was tested among incoming German studies students for the introduction of automated systems to provide feedback on their written work and evaluated in the context of supporting learning strategies for autonomous learning.
