Summary/Abstract: Family resilience is a set of relationships and processes within the family that are positive, supportive, and fulfilling for its members, especially during difficult times and hardships. It represents the family’s ability to successfully adapt to challenges and overcome them without disrupting family structure and harmony. The way adolescents perceive their family and all the factors of its resilience (family communication, problem-solving, flexibility, atmosphere, connectedness, organization, belief system) affects their psychosocial development. If the perception is positive, the influence on their overall development is also positive; if it is negative, it can have serious consequences on all aspects of an adolescent’s life, both now and in the future. The purpose of this research is to examine adolescents’ perceptions of family resilience. The study involved 100 (N=100) adolescents. The results show that adolescents perceive family resilience positively, particularly family communication, problem-solving, and the overall family atmosphere.
