Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of old age and the process of aging represent one of the key anthropological and social issues of the contemporary era. This paper examines how older generations perceive and transmit moral and religious values, and how these values shape social relations and the identity of the community. Special attention is given to the relationship between traditional religious beliefs and the changing moral norms imposed by modern society. The methodological framework is based on a combination of theoretical analysis of relevant literature and insights from empirical studies addressing religiosity and moral orientations among older persons. The results indicate that older generations regard moral and religious values as the foundation of social stability and interpersonal solidarity, while younger people more often express a tendency toward individualism and relativism. A generational gap is observed, alongside the potential of older persons to serve as guardians of collective identity and transmitters of a value system. The paper concludes that old age and aging are not merely biological facts, but also important cultural and spiritual processes through which society confronts issues of continuity and change. Thus, older persons remain an indispensable factor in preserving the moral and religious foundations of the community.
