Summary/Abstract: In the article, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on BDSM practices was analyzed, with particular emphasis on changes in relationship dynamics, ways of building bonds, and the functioning of BDSM communities. Global restrictions, including the limitation of physical contact, forced adaptation to new conditions. The text indicates how the pandemic affected the transformation of BDSM practices, emphasizing the key role of technology in maintaining remote interactions. The pandemic not only limited the possibilities of traditional forms of contact, but also created space for redefining the roles of dominance and submission in a digital context. The use of new communication tools allowed for the development of remote BDSM practices. The changes discussed in the text covered not only practitioners themselves, but also affected the organization of community events, the distribution of gadgets, and commercial services related to BDSM, which had to adapt to new realities.
