Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the management and utilization of properties owned by the Hrvatinić noble family in Ragusa, offering a critical reassessment of previous historiographical interpretations. Particular emphasis is placed on the relationship between the nobleman Tvrtko Borovinić and the house acquired by Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić. With additional historical sources, the rental value of the aforementioned house can be traced up to the early seventeenth century. By following the rent payments, certain irregularities and disparities in their amounts are revealed, which may serve as indicators of potential changes in the economic status of the property in question. The analysis also includes an evaluation of the rental value of the Hrvatinić estates in Primorje, as well as a rectification of an earlier misinterpretation concerning the location of Balša Hercegović’s estate.
