Summary/Abstract: This article presents the role of a trainer of people with intellectual disabilities as a leader in society, and outlines their work and activities. The leader as a trainer and their character traits helps people with intellectual disabilities to fulfil their social role. The text is an at tempt to shed light on the situation of these people in social and sporting life. They fill a gap in our local community, which gives them a sense of being full citizens of our country.
