Summary/Abstract: The technicalisation of life has a strong impact on people's everyday functioning. Technology offers new possibilities and makes life easier, but it can also lead t addiction and have negative effects on health and the environment. Conscious use of technology is essential in order not to succumb to technological domination. Technology changes the way we think, learn, and perceive the world, shaping the future of society in both positive and negative ways. Post-reality is a stage that follows reality, in which the senselessness of new narratives becomes apparent. Post-truth, by contrast, involves presenting lies as facts, blurring the line between truth and opinion and hindering reliable communication. In contemporary culture – dominated by information technologies – memory and truth become increasingly ambiguous. Therefore, exercising caution when evaluating sources of information is indispensable.
