Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the phenomenon of social maladjustment in light of the Act on the Support and Resocialization of Minors. General issues are presented and the definitional context of social maladjustment is discussed. he following sections highlight preventive measures and strategies that are crucial for avoiding and minimizing risky behaviours. Finally, changes in legislation concerning the treatment of minors, their punishment, and the resocialization process are analysed and reflected upon.
