Summary/Abstract: In the context of the evolution of the contemporary military phenomenon, expeditionary operations have undergone transformations imposed by the way in which the military role was designed by the states’ political decision makers. Romanian military experience has greatly contributed to the enriching of the theoretical and practical heritage of the military expeditionary operations.
