THE HARMONIZATION OF ROMANIAN MILITARY LAWS WITH EU’ S ACQUIS

Summary/Abstract: Ensuring Romania’s Armed Forces interoperability with EU military structures includes the following: acknowledging fundamental laws and doctrines concerning the structure and the competence of General Staff and those with regard to the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) operations; reviewing and adapting relevant military regulations and directives in accordance with the EU standards; enhancing, through adequate budgetary allocations, of the restructuring, modernization and transformation processes, according to Romanian legislation and Euro-Atlantic standards; adapting operational, material and administrative aspects of standardization.
