THE ROLE OF PREVENTIVE DIPLOMACY IN SOLVING CONTEMPORARY POLITICAL-MILITARY CRISES

Summary/Abstract: The success in annihilating a conflict focus in an amiable way depends not only on the convergence of the strategies proposed for defrosting the situation but also on the diplomatic abilities of each party present at the negotiation table, and its responsible approach. The diplomatic means defined by the Charter of the United Nations which are materialized in treaties, good offices, mediations, inquires, and international conciliation, represented and still do means by which states frequently solve disputes and reach a common point in the most “elegant” and less prejudicial manner.
