Summary/Abstract: This review examines the potential contributions of European propolis to health and environmentally friendly agriculture. Studies published between 2020 and 2025 were analyzed. The findings show that European propolis exhibits antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant activities due to its high phenolic and flavonoid content. Propolis may be used as a natural preservative in food safety and as a potential biological control agent in sustainable agriculture. Therefore, it represents a promising natural alternative to chemical additives and pesticides.
