Summary/Abstract: This study examines the phenomenon of "quiet quitting" as a deliberate coping mechanism through the lens of Conservation of Resources (COR) Theory. Unlike traditional turnover, quiet quitting represents a strategic withdrawal where employees limit their efforts to the minimum requirements of their job descriptions to prevent emotional and cognitive burnout. Within the framework of COR theory, this behavior is analyzed as a proactive measure taken by individuals to protect their remaining psychological and physical resources in the face of excessive workplace demands and resource depletion. By conceptualizing quiet quitting not merely as a loss of motivation but as a resource management strategy, this research provides a theoretical perspective on how organizational environments influence employee resource cycles. The findings offer significant insights for management practices, emphasizing the importance of resource investment and support systems in mitigating strategic withdrawal behaviors.
